It is inevitable that there will be a few deaths on each raid. To make sure that the recovery is as fast and as easy as possible, there are a few things that everyone should do - both before the raid and after that person dies.
It is usually necessary to move a corpse before rezzing it, even if just by a few feet. To make this as fast as possible, please make sure you have auto-consent for the raid turned on in the options window. This allows your corpse to be moved without your attention.
The clerics will usually delegate one of them to be the battle rezzer. If that's the case, this will be announced in /rs on the beginning of the raid and it will be noted in the raid manager as well. To make sure you get the rez as soon as possible, please send a direct tell to the dedicated rezzer immediately after you die - that will make them aware of the fact that you need a rez.
When you die, please be patient. The raiders are doing all they can to rez everyone as fast as possible, so telling them that your hover timer will expire in 10 seconds will not make it any faster.
After you are rezzed, it's time to ask for buffs; it is your responsibility to ask for the buffs you need. But buffing has already been covered.
